Smith Grove's Ghost

"I have familiarized myself with your site, and when I had some pictures developed, and came across the attached, I thought of it. Ironically, it was taken on Halloween, in Smith's Grove, Warren County, KY. Now, the reason I was in Smith's Grove, Warren County (a very small town in rural Kentucky) is because it was Halloween. For your information: Movie Director John Carpenter grew up in this part of Kentucky. In his classic masterpiece "Halloween" the murderer escaped from the "Smith's Grove, Warren County Sanitarium" on Halloween. Now, in reality Smith's Grove isn't large enough for a sanitarium, the story takes place in Illinois (Carpenter named many of the fictional towns after real life towns around here) and all filming took place in CA, so I was probably the only one in town that day who cared."
