RESTLESS GHOSTS?
These photographs were sent to us by a member of the International Ghost Hunters Society, Rachel Elias living in Madison, New Jersey. The photographs were taken at Union Cemetery in Easton, Conneticut. We are told that the cemetery is now guarded by local authorities. Anyone caught tresspassing will be arrested. Unfortunately, the local teenagers have destroyed tombstones and had parties in the cemetery. Perhaps, if you contacted the local authorities for permission to photograph the cemetery at night, permission may be granted. Notice the ectoplasm that is above the tombstones! Rachel writes, "When I went thre I did have an uneasy feeling like my friends and I were not alone. Right next to the cemetery is a Baptist church and it was said that there were ghosts lurking in the church. There is a legend that a woman in white is frequently seen in the Union Cemetery and then mysteriously disappears. Other people report that they have seen and talked to what looked like a real person, but when they turned around a minute later, that person had vanished. The Baptist church has a history--supposedly a body was put down a sink hole and covered with weights. Somehow the weights were moved and the body released. The spirit is supposed to linger there and inside the church."
These are remarkable pictures. We were sent a third picture showing an ectoplasm that was used as a control photo to show that there was no fog at the cemetery that night!
This is really an eerie cemetery. She called this ectoplasm, spiritual energy. She is right...the energy of spirits! Does anyone see what appears to be a face in both pictures. The picture on the left shows a full face while the picture on the right shows the upper portion of the face. Perhaps, it is my imagination, but it sure does look like a face to me.
