Christmas Ghost of 1996

These photos were sent by Keith Loper and his girl friend Maria Schang at cheepnis@mindspring.com.

According to Keith's letter, "Picture #1 shows myself and my girl friend standing in front of our Christmas tree. Just moments before this we had taken a picture of her son and girl friend in the same spot and when developed it did not show anything abnormal. Please notice how the image seems to be a series of globular entities that head toward the ceiling above us and then head back toward the camera. Also take note of the shadow on the ceiling. When this picture was taken we saw nothing unusual nor did anyone else.

Picture #2 shows my sons laying on the floor later that night on the same spot where we had stood for the other picture. There was no one smoking at the time and none noticed anything unusual. This smoky apparition showed up only when the film was developed.

Picture #3 was taken the night of my birthday after we had been to dinner and then went to see the image of the Virgin Mary that is visible on the side of a building in Clearwater."

Dave's Notes: The first photo shows a vortex that is transforming into globular configuration while in motion. This is our first photo showing the actual transformation process. If the vortex was a strap as skeptics would suggest, then why does it physical change shape and become globular? Remember, we are freezing the event in motion when the camera records this frame of time. Perhaps other vortex shaped apparitions would transform into other ghostly shapes if we could have the opportunity of studying it while it transformed. Would the globes transform into a vapor like ectoplasm? Food for thought. It is also interesting to note that photo 2 is swirls and photo 3 is more dense ectoplasm...almost like swirls that become more dense as they materialized into this domain. No one is blowing smoke in front of the camera lense and no camera strap has gotten in front of the camera. Why do some skeptics still refuse to accept anomalous photos, such as these, as being something abnormal and not of this world. Is it fear of the unknown, does it pose too many questions that can't be answered within the confines of their belief system. There are too many photographs to discount the existence of spirits.
