Laura said, "These were taken in my parent's home, which, as I have learned, stands along the path of the ill-fated Trail of Tears ( the forced migration of the Cherokee Nation by our government in 1838-39). Perhaps our visitor is one who did not survive the journey. Or maybe it's my grandmother Nana, who passed in 1989."
