Heath said, "I am sending you guys a picture that was taken sometime between March 16-22 1998. This picture was taken at The Desert Inn Resort Hotel in Daytona Beach, FL. We were outside on the balconies of our adjoining 3rd floor rooms. One of our friends snapped the photo of my friends and I acting crazy on our balcony using a Kodak Advantix camera from their balcony. I'm not sure what speed film was used but you can see a very nice vortex showed up! I have showed the photo to many people and the most common question was "is it a curtain?" I can assure you it is not. The curtains show no resemblance to the object and the sliding doors open on the opposite side of the balcony which make it impossible for them to be in that position in the first place. The pic had been hanging on my roommates wall since it was developed and after seeing pics of other vortices on your web page I was shocked when I recognized what I was seeing."

Dave's Notes:
Before jumping to the conclusion that this is a camera strap, I would suggest you look at the lower portion of the vortex. A second emerging vortex is forming. The patterns may well be made by hundred's of individual balls of light or orbs moving together as is often found in other photos posted on this site. Also notice the shadow being cast on the wall.
