The town of Gracemont, Oklahoma is just a wide spot in the road. It is one of those towns that you have to drive through to go either south or north. We stopped and explored an Antique store in town before we drove out to the cemetery. It was a hot August afternoon as we drive through this cemetery and the only life we could find happened to be on the windshield. Sharon thought it would be interesting to capture the grasshopper on film and this is the only reason we have a photo of the cemetery. We stayed at El Reno West KOA and drove down to Lawton and the Military Reservation, but because of the 911, the security was tight and we could not get on to hunt for an old cemetery we were looking for. We visited several Indian cemeteries without getting any EVP.
