The photo on the right was taken by David Goodwin of St. Louis, Missouri during the "Haunted Decatur Tour" portion of the 1997 Ghost Conference. The photo was taken at the old Wabash Train station in Decatur.

The photo was taken with a Polaroid 600 camera. "At first I thought it was a dud photos," David explained, "but when I got back to my hotel room, I noticed a small "flash" off center in the picture. In the original photograph, you can barely make out the faint outline of the train station. In the enlarged photo, the outline appears as faint, blue lines. "The enlarged photo of the "flash" shows tapered ends on both sides and a small ball of light in the center.
