These photos were sent by IGHS member Paul K. Schwarz of CompDctr@aol.com.
Paul said, "These pictures were taken the weekend of July17, 1998. This is inside of a resort home just outside of Galena, Illinois. The pictures show quite a few orbs, many of which are in the master bedroom of the home, along with a vapor of some sort. The pictures were taken with a disposable camera."
Dave's Notes:
Even among ghost hunters there are skeptics. In the past some have voiced concerns that orbs captured using a flash were nothing more than light reflecting off dust particles, rain droplets or snow. Paul's photos clearly show that it was not raining nor snowing in the room at the time the photos were taken. Also these photos were taken without flash so the flash augment expressed by skeptics again fades into the background where their opinions typically ends up.I believe in questioning everything and holding fast to that which is true. However, this does not mean we forget common sense because it gets in the way of self imposed interpretation beyond the world of reality. I have always been taught that if it looks like a horse, smells like a horse, snorts like a horse and finally it walks like a horse, than the probability is high that it is a horse. Notice that I did not say that if it looked like a horse than it was a horse! Most skeptics rely upon visual similarities for their judgements and ignore the host of other characteristics that must be evaluated before coming to a conclusion.
