This photo was submitted by Pat Cody at patcody@swbell.net, on behalf of Sue-Ellen Welfonder at welfonder@juno.com."According to Pat's note, "This pub was written up in several ghost books. The photo is of a Sentry Box, outside the Pub. Other photos clearly show a leg and foot forming."
"According to Sue-Ellen, " It was taken last summer (Aug. 96) in London. The Grenadier is quite haunted, and we got several quite startling shots there, as well as personally experiencing some very unusual things."
"It's one of the 'streaky' ones that most 'experts' say is caused by me 'jiggling' the camera. The light streaks on it can't be 'light reflections' because it was taken about dusk in a pretty murky alley and aside from the sparse exterior lighting on the front of the pub itself, there weren't any lights, such as neon ones, anywhere nearby that could have caused such reflections."
They are currently writing a book along with Karen Stevens about haunted places in the British Isles.
Dave's Notes: If you examine this photograph you will notice that it is not double exposed. Examine some of the features and it becomes clear that this was not double exposed or "jiggling" of the camera. What is most interesting is the blue rope like anomaly and the start of an ectoplasmic shape below the flower arrangement in the upper right hand side of the photo.
